Spring Update

Hi my fellow stampers, I have been gone for the past week but I have been quite busy. My upline and myself have a booth at the Michigan International Women's Show this weekend, it is a 4 day event here in MI. The best part of the weekend so far (other than meeting tons of fabulous ladies) is getting to meet and stamp with Miss United States. We were talking how we are both originally from Georgia and she came over to see what Stampin' Up! was all about.

I will have some more fun photos after the event is over tomorrow.

Summer Mini Catalog Preview

Here are 5 cards that I created with stamp sets from the Summer Mini Catalog that starts on May 1st. One of my favorite things about being a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator is being able to pre-order items from the mini catalogs early.

It seemed once I started and got my creative juices flowing I just didn't want to stop. I was going to spread my blog posts out over the week but I couldn't decide which to show first so here they all are.

Here is the first card that I created: It uses the new set Pretty Postage & the coordinating punch.

Here is another card using the same stamp set & punch. I colored only part of the stamp and then used Tiny Tags (118592 C & 118091 W) stamp for inside words. The sail boat was inspired by a card on Mary's blog. To create the sail boat I cut a Postage Punch apart & half 1 1/4" circle. Also new is the thread (baker's twine) in the button.

Of course I think there is a Father's Day set every year. Here is the new Best Dad Ever set and using another color of the baker's twine.
This card is created using the new Strength & Hope stamp set. Stampin' Up! is donating $2 from the purchase of this set and donating it to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. There is also a digital kit that will include the stamp set & 12 Designer Series Papers & 10 embellishment pieces.
My last card for today was made using Bold Blossom, which is going to be a carryover stamp set into the new mini catalog. But really excited is the two new punches (one shown here). These punches are really exciting, they can punch 3 different images in one punch. Also the greeting is from the Happy Greetings stamp set in the new mini as well.

What is My Digital Studio?

For those new to the digital scrapbooking world (like myself) I filmed a quick and very basic into to what My Digital Studio is and does. I am also posting my first finished album. I was able to make the complete album in just over an hour (I spent more time trying to find the song on my computer than anything else).

Kids Party Projects Video

Technique Class 4-13

Here are the two Techniques that will be featured at my Technique Class on 4/13 at 7pm. (Space is currently still available, call to be sure & to register)
