Paper Pumpkin Cards
As promised here are the cards that were made with the first Paper Pumpkin kit.
It was a really fun and easy project to do. I had even more fun since I got two out of three kids to help! Both Ben (almost 4) and Madelyn (almost 7) created a card all their own. I made one following the directions and of course one that is kicked up a notch.
Here are the photos.....
Ben was really proud that he was able to make the card all by himself.
Here is the card as made following the directions....
Here is Madelyn's card.....
Here is Ben's card.....
Here is the stepped up card, I added a mat of Old Olive & the Baker's Twine to the button along with some extra stamping......
I should have taken photos of Maddie while she was making her card too but Ben was acting extra goofy when he started to make his so I had to bring the camera out. I'll have to get him his own sticker collection now to since that was his favorite part, well that and stamping, and glueing, and well everything!

*Side note I did offer to have my oldest son Brendan (10) make a card to and he wasn't having any part in that. His response was "No, I'm good"
This is a perfect to-go project, something to do with the kids/grandkids or just for a rainy day. I love that everything (you'll need SNAIL) is in the kit :)

Paper Pumpkin
Once again today my little Miss Maddie was home sick from school. Hopefully tomorrow everything will be back to normal and we will be back on schedule here.....or as close as we can get with all three kids.
But it was a nice surprise to find that my Paper Pumpkin kit has arrived all ready!
I can't wait to work on this tomorrow with lil' Miss Maddie.
Here are some photos of what the kits contains:
A welcome note.....
The kit is all wrapped up in tissue for that extra special feeling.....
Here are the contents for the first kit......card kit, Basic Grey spot & two clear mount stamps.
Included in the kits are all the items needed to make the card shown in the picture include direction on how to assemble the card. All that is needed is some adhesive (SNAIL, Glue Dots, etc) Note - the clear acrylic block was a special bonus gift for the first month.

Dude, You're Welcome! Card Kit
Today I am showing the new Dude, You're Welcome! card kit. Brian (my husband) is pretty good at leaving me little notes and cards every now and again so I thought that this could be something that was just for him. I think he's scared of the about of stuff that I have to try and do anything on his own. I've taken some stuff out for him in the past to let him work with the kids on some cards and such.
Plus it comes all in a nice sturdy box that will help him keep it all together. I don't have a 'card' to show off the kit but we did try out the stamps on some of my paper so we weren't using his. Here are some photos:
Here is what 3 of the 4 stamps look like:

For the main image I used the 1 3/8", 1 1/4" circle punch & the 1 3/4" scalloped circle punch.
Here is the Special Best of 25 Years stamp bundle for March.
I hope that you enjoy today's project. I'm looking forward for what I have planed for next week!

Back up and running.......well, walking really fast
It was bound to happen.....the kids have a break from school and someone is going to a cold. Bad news is this year it was me. But I'm back up and running (or more like walking really fast). So we will just jump right back in where I left off......finishing up the Stamp of the Week set.
Here we have card design number 3.
For this card I used of course Everybunny Stamp Set along with the following:
Regal Rose & Whisper White card stock
Brights - DSP Patterns Stack
Large Paper Doily Sizzix
Blender Pen
1/2" Circle Punch.
Bakers Twine
While this one wasn't my favorite from the stamp set, it was one that Madelyn (6) wanted to try and CASE off another card that she saw. For the most part she nailed it, I just would have used more color, a different color for the paper doily for example.

Everybunny Oval
Sorry about not posting Saturday & Monday. We spent the weekend working on our basement.....here is our help. And the kids have their Mid-Winter Break this week, just in time for me to get a stomach bug.
But we are back to work and up & Stampin'! With posting everyday(ish) I have found that I need to make a schedule to help keep things fresh and new. (Nice right) I'll make three cards and one 3-d project using the same stamp set all week. (I know!)
So for it's launch...The Stamp Set of the Week is Everybunny this month.

Crazy Wednesday!
I think this my be a trend for my Wednesday's (I hope not) but it is again a crazy Wednesday.
I had. My Parent-Tot class that I teach at the Community Center and of course late last night I came up with a brilliant change of plans for the craft project but the change involved a quick shopping trip before class. But there is nothing like giving kids cookies, frosting & sprinkles to keep them entertained for 10 whole minutes!
Then I found out after school that Madelyn needed a box for her Valentine party. Well luckily I have a surplus of craft supplies. Then she wanted to use the Cricut Expressions 2. I I haven't really used this new toy before now (or at least to get the images to fit right) I think this is why I love my Big Shot better than the Cricut. After thirty minutes and my husband laughing at me I finally got it.
So tomorrow we will return to the normal cards and 3-d Stampin' Up! projects.

Best Of Everything
While I finish up getting my kids Valentine's done they were of course getting into some of my stuff and happened to find the featured item in today's card......wonder color crayons!
These are so much fun to use and can be used many different ways. For today's card I colored with the crayons right onto the stamp (you can use more than one color and blend away!) and the misted the stamp with plain water. Give the water a few seconds to spread over the whole stamp and voila watercolor made easy.
Here is what I used for today's card.......
Best of Everything stamp set
Regal Rose & Natural White card stock
Floral District DSP
Bright Watercolor Crayons
Regal Rose classic ink pad
Curly Label punch & Cloudy Day Embossing Folder
I hope that you have a great day and don't forget to sign up for my email newsletter.

Family Day
Today was a family day for us here. The older two kids got to go to their Pokemon league and play with other kids their age. Afterward we had my nephews birthday party to go to and we got to see little Ben who is spending the weekend with his grandparents.
And instead of coming home and getting some craft time in we got the next step in our basement project started. Of course Maddie was there to help out. Nothing like building while decked out in Hello Kitty gear.
I hope you had a great day too! (hopefully tomorrow I can get some craft time in)

Latte Love Card
Today is normally my get it done day (since lil' Ben is in school 1/2 the day) but today I was able to help a friend out and got a lil' guy to watch and hang out with. It is so much fun (I think anyway) to get to watch other people's kids because for the most part they will behave better for you then they would with their own parents. So it was a wonderful change of pace for the day.
But that doesn't mean I don't have a card for you today! :)
I love this stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog....it is one of my favorite's right now.
Here is what is used in today's card......
Patterned Occasions Stamp Set
Raspberry Ripple, Natural White & Island Indigo cardstock
Sycamore Street DSP
Raspberry Ripple 3/8" satin stitched ribbon
Early Espresso, Rich Razzleberry & Island Indigo Stampin' Write Markers

Carry On
Today's card was made so that I had some thing to send to my Thirty-One hostesses as a thank you....so the only requirement was that it had a bag on it in some way.
Here was my first idea....I sure when I use all that I had made I'll come up with a different idea.
Here is what I used for this card:
Carry On Hostess Stamp Set
Floral District DSP
Chocolate Chip & Natural White cardstock
Rose Red, Rich Razzleberry & Basic Black ink
Baja Breeze 1/2" Seam Binding ribbon
1" Square & 1 1/2" Scallop Square punch
and a small craft stapler
Don't forget you have a couple of days to enter for my blog candy, just leave a comment on the post on 2/4/13. Also be sure to sign up for my newsletter email on the right -->
